Chainsaw Man Season 2: Release Date And Updates
Some leaks confirm that Chainsaw Man Season 2 has a movie. Now let us see what comes first: a movie or a new season.
Oct 29, 2023 Manga/Anime
In October 2022 saw the premiere of Chainsaw Man’s first season. After the first season ended, Studio Mappa did not immediately declare season 2, despite the fan theories. Popular anime series in the anime business usually reveal the anime sequel’s production as soon as the current season concludes.
Chainsaw Man season 2: Release date Expected
In October 2022, during the normally busy fall anime season, Chainsaw Man made his debut. The series aired for 12 episodes.
Although a formal announcement on season 2 has not yet been made, we don’t think the program will be canceled anytime soon. Since Studio MAPPA has been producing such amazing work lately, we wouldn’t rule out the possibility of a 2024 comeback, especially now that season 2 of Vinland Saga is complete.
Chainsaw Man season 2: What to Expect?
The focus of the first season of the show was Denji’s training as a devil hunter, although the anime hasn’t yet tackled some of the most incredible comic stories.
Only the first 38 chapters of the manga were adapted for the first season. Chapters 39 through 70 will most likely be adapted for Season 2. The International Assassins and Bomb Girl arcs are covered in these chapters.
But Denji is brought back to life and unites with Pochita to become the Chainsaw Man. He can transform into something that is effectively a sentient chainsaw by removing the ripcord on his head.
He spent a large portion of the first season developing into his companion Power, Aki, Himeno, and Kobeni’s Public Safety Devil Hunter. They battle monsters like the Ghost Devil, the Bat Devil, and Katana Man, whom they ultimately subdue. The season concludes with Akane being killed by the Snake Devil, the crew searching for the Gun Devil, and the appearance of an enigmatic new character who inquires as to whether someone would choose to be a “country mouse” or a “city mouse.”
It’s unknown as of yet how much the upcoming season will change from the original content. The Public Safety Saga, the manga’s first section, is around 40% complete, although there may be a bit too much content for a single 12-episode season.
When Chainsaw Man returns, we can expect to see him blast through the explosive Bomb Girl storyline (chapters 40–52) and the International Assassins arc (chapters 53–70), if the second season lasts longer.
Without giving anything away, Reze, the woman glimpsed at the close of the first season, will play a significant role in the upcoming episodes. Additionally, the general threat posed by Gun Devil will be acutely felt as the recently combined Division 4 of the Department of Public Safety and its team of Devil Hunters encounter new friends and foes.
Chainsaw Man season 2 Cast
We anticipate the return of Power (Fairouz Ai), Makima (Tomori Kusunoki), Aki (Shogo Sakata), and Denji (Kikunosuke Toya). Reze (Reina Ueda) will be a significant addition, while most of the original English cast is likely to return. More details when they become available.
Chainsaw Man season 2 Trailer Release Date
A Chainsaw Man season 2 trailer is not likely to arrive anytime soon. We’ll be lucky to see even a little video in the remaining months of 2023 if there aren’t any announcements made soon. For more, keep an eye on the official Chainsaw Man Twitter account and Crunchyroll’s social media sites.
For those who subscribe to Crunchyroll Premium, the first season of Chainsaw Man may be watched both dubbed and subbed, with the English premiere of the season 1 finale scheduled for mid-January. It’s reasonable to expect that Chainsaw Man season 2 will debut on Crunchyroll.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 147: The Story Till Now
In the previous chapter, Yoshida apologized to a surprised Asa for having to harm her after she had taken his advice. With a pained expression on his face, he was about to strike her again when the scene shifted to Barem telling Denji and the others how they recruited churchgoers.
He also discloses that contrary to what the members were informed, they actually engaged the church’s members with the Fire Devil rather than the Justice Devil.
Chainsaws were visible emerging from the heads and arms of the Fire Devil’s contracted members. This is so that the contracts they have with the Fire Devil have “the power to change into any shape they desire.” Barem also disclosed the Fire Devil’s second power: the more subcontractors it has, the stronger it becomes—though most of them lose self-control.
Barem disclosed that massive mass weddings were performed in international church chapters, leading to an additional 350 thousand Fire Devil contractors worldwide. Then Barem disclosed that Fami and he were going to take out the Death Devil, also known as the Mighty King of Terror, as Nayuta had revealed.
The chapter comes to a close, Nayuta declares that Fami’s strategy is to use Chainsaw Man and War Devil Yoru to slay the Death Devil by instilling fear in them.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 147: Denji And The Devil Hunters Work Together
Chainsaw Man Chapter 147 will see the continuation of this struggle. The likelihood of victory increases as the two warriors get stronger. To counter this escalating threat, Denji and the devil hunters might band together. To survive the approaching apocalypse and preserve civilization, they will need to channel their dread of both War and Chainsaw Man.
Denji will never accept this new development, given that he is already somewhat irritated that Asa is taking all the attention away from him. However, I don’t believe there’s any reason to worry that he would transform into Chainsaw Man on his own. Without a doubt, Public Safety will intervene and enlist him to either massacre every member of the afflicted church or mobilize them.
It is required that the arrangement has driven them insane, and because Chainsaw Man’s appearance won’t change anything, a frenzy will result. Whatever transpires, there will be a lot of bloodshed.
In Chainsaw Man Chapter 147, Asa Mitaka and Hirofumi Yoshida’s predicted fight ought to get the majority of attention. Yoshida presently appears to be in the lead, but there is always a chance that Famine Devil Fami or War Devil Yoru could suddenly intervene or take over Asa’s body and revenge.

Chainsaw Man Chapter 147: About Chainsaw Man Manga
Devils rule the planet of Chainsaw Man. The series’ central idea is that human worries manifest in the form of terrifying, horrifying devils who possess extraordinary abilities in this realm. They can be exiled from this dimension, but in Hell, they will rise again. The presence of devils has led to the emergence of devil hunters—people who hunt devils for a living.
The Governmental Safety Council, a bureau of devil hunters employed by the government, is the highest point of this occupation. Some of them even have agreements in place with the Devils for terrible expenses. The Commission also uses fiends, which are devils that have possessed a dead person, and hybrid cars, which are created when a devil fuses with a human through agreement or surgery.
Denji, whose real name wasn’t ever given in the series, is the lead character of Chainsaw Man. Denji is surrounded by Aki Hayakawa and Power, two deuteragonists and a tritagonist, as is traditional for the Shonen series. Power is a fiend, while Aki is a demon hunter. They both work for the 4th division of the Security Commission and are supervised by Makima, the division’s chief, whose surname is also missing.
This series coated in blood, guts, death, and brutality, has several violent and sexually explicit scenes. Self-harm is mentioned and seen, albeit in a far different setting than a psychological one. Nearly all characters exhibit a broad disregard for their safety. This may occasionally have suicidal tendencies.
The series has a lot of deceptively deep themes and psychological content. Some of the greatest realities are casually given beneath the surface of fan culture and action, which occasionally has the potential to be upsetting. Additionally, the manga exhibits a casual attitude toward grooming and teenage sex throughout, which some may view as a misogynist work of literature.
Denji has a shallow demeanor and superficial dreams, but behind that is a lifetime of restriction of even the most fundamental human rights. Beyond Aki’s lofty aspirations is a guy who has become so overcome by sorrow that he forgets to appreciate what he already has until it is too late.
A world that combines political allegory, societal mockery, dramatic intrigue, and compassionate humanity uses this fundamental yet nuanced philosophical concept as its cornerstone. His characters are given life with striking, frequently painfully jarring contrasts of color set against a perpetually gloomy background. Chainsaw Man is fundamentally a description. It makes no judgments, never assigns blame, and never offers a fix.
Chainsaw Man emerges with the three characters meeting and then follows their exploits while working as Devil Hunters. The series never permits the reader or viewer to hope for even the slightest hint of a happy conclusion for any of its protagonists, and these experiences are the material of nightmares. It has left a long-lasting impression on the animanga community despite being unabashedly dark and unflinchingly straightforward. Now the manga comes to Chainsaw Man Chapter 147 You can read the remaining chapters from the official website.
